We are providing the Hospital of Kalyandurg with several apparatus and instruments required to start the surgical activity of an operating theatre.

The service has a properly equipped medical examination room, a room with a YAG laser and an operating theatre. This service has to cover the ophthalmology needs of a town of over three million inhabitants. To date more than 400 ophthalmology patients have been examined in the Hospital of Kalyandurg.

At the same time we are assisting with the training of the local medical staff. The Foundation sends medical committees to the Hospital of Kalyandurg on a regular basis in order to diagnose, treat, operate and prevent all those blind cases that are avoidable, especially among the child population of the area.
